This Senior Life/400 Developer role is with a well-known Irish-owned company in the insurance industry. With an extremely profitable 2023 behind them (think billions!), they’re currently on the lookout for a few new team additions – including 2 Senior Life/400 Developers.
They’re looking for a Senior Life/400 Developer to join a well-established team consisting of multiple developers, testers and business analysts to work with Life/400 and Cobol, along with SQL on the database side. The company is currently expanding their client-base and need and experienced pair of hands to work on the code. On top of that, you would get to flex your experience as they’re looking for someone who can be the point of contact for stakeholders and business to answer any technical questions they might have!
In return, the candidate can expect a remote-first and supportive environment with a plethora of benefits and social events. You go into the office as much (or as little) as you want! The company organizes several get-togethers on a monthly basis, however, they’re completely optional to attend. With employees all over Ireland, this policy will not change any time soon!
This is a Ireland-based remote-first role – there’s no concrete expectations to go into the office but candidates need to be based in Ireland.
Skills/Experience
- Extensive knowledge of Life/400 and Cobol or similar (Smart/400, Polisy/400, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in the industry
Salary / Remuneration
Up to €90,000 (DOE) + remote-first work, health and life insurance, bonus, pension, generous amount of annual leaves, staff discount on insurance (car, home, etc.), free gym and more
