As part of their dynamic expansion in Dublin, they are seeking a passionate Senior Security Specialist to join their IT Operations team.
As a Senior Security Specialist in this newly created role, you will lead security measures and frameworks that both defend and streamline operations. Your role will involve performing in-depth system analyses to identify vulnerabilities and implementing cutting-edge solutions to bolster security defenses. You will also create and maintain critical documentation, balancing your time with 70% hands-on technical work and 30% focused on documentation.
This is truly a unique opportunity to shape the security landscape from the ground up in a greenfield role. This well-established organisation offers a flexible hybrid working model, with 2 days on-site in West Dublin and 3 days working from home. While this organisation has some exposure to Cloud technologies in an Azure environment, the ideal candidate will be happy to operate in a mostly on-prem environment, with further Cloud expansion planned in the company’s near future. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Security Specialist who is eager to take on comprehensive security projects, with a strong blend of technical prowess and strategic thinking, thriving in roles where you can analyze, improve, and implement pivotal changes.

Skills/Experience:
- 5 years + of experience of creating GRC, Incident Management and IT Security strategies
- 5 years + of experience in information security roles, with a focus on security architecture, incident response, and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related discipline
Salary:
€70,000-€100,000 DOE + Flexible working + incredible benefits and MORE
