This Senior Python Engineer role is with a globally-established company in the financial space. They’re a massive organization that focuses on bonds, stocks and securities. With an amazing culture and with really strong stability throughout the last couple of years, the company is currently going through a growth period due to its excellent performance the last few years.
They’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer who would join one of their newest teams with great engineers already in it – you would be creating a massive customer-facing platform from scratch by utilizing your expertise in Python, Azure, FastAPI and SQL, among other technologies. The application will need to be scalable and robust so you’re looking at a great technical challenge! On top of that, a lot of eyes will be on the new project so it’s a great opportunity to create visibility over the quality of the work you’ll be doing.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Python Engineer role has more than 5 years of experience in developing robust and scalable applications, a strong background with Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks) and experience with Azure (or similar) and SQL. Experience with companies in the financial background is nice to have but by no means necessary.
This is a remote-first opportunity based in Dublin. The company’s engineers go to the office twice a month.
You will:
- Build an entirely new platform from scratch

You have:
- 5+ years of experience with scalable and robust applications
- Experience with Python, FastAPI (or similar) and Azure (or similar)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and microservices
Salary / Remuneration
Up to 95,000 (DOE) per annum + 10% bonus, 25 days of annual leaves, 8% pension, health insurance, life insurance and others.
