ERP Project Lead – Progress to Manager
Join a leading global insurance company with offices based in London, Bermuda & Dublin. Having opened their office in Dublin in 2019 they have grown substantially and are now searching for an ERP Project Lead to progress to a Senior management role.
This role offers a clear path to advancement as you will have the opportunity to progress to the position of IT Finance Systems Manager, leading and shaping the future of their financial systems technology landscape.
The ideal individual will be an experienced IT Finance Systems Engineer/ ERP Project Lead with experience in ERP systems and Oracle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in supporting and managing their portfolio of financial applications.
- Work closely with IT Compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met and coordinate with DBA and DevOps teams to adhere to system design and deployment standards.
- Act as a quality gate for financial application changes.
- Facilitate communication between business application users, IT stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business units.
- Support the recruitment, training, and mentoring of team members.
- Align with senior IT leadership to support infrastructure design changes and implementation.
- Manage budgets, build forecasts, track costs, and improve efficiency through vendor management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a medium to large enterprise IT function managing Financial IT systems.
- A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting practices, particularly corporate month-end and consolidation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Excel VBA is a plus.
- Experience with GTreasury, Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft SQL Server is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience managing across multiple disciplines within a large IT department.
- Proficient in change control, release, and deployment management, including using JIRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business and technical teams.
Salary €120’000- €140’000
