My client, a globally recognised tech powerhouse is expanding its Dublin HQ and is seeking a Data Engineering Tech Lead to drive the development of cutting-edge AI/ML data solutions. This is a high-impact tech leadership role where you’ll shape the architecture and delivery of advanced data products, with a strong emphasis on IoT and real-time data processing.
You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, designing and building scalable, cloud-native data pipelines that support next-gen AI applications — including LLMs and other breakthrough technologies transforming the industrial landscape. The team works with the latest tech stack, including Python, Spark, and Databricks, alongside Azure and GCP for data lake and cloud infrastructure.
This is a rare blend of strategic leadership and hands-on data engineering, where you’ll lead a growing team of 10 skilled data engineers and developers. As the organisation continues to scale rapidly, you’ll have a clear path to senior leadership roles, with genuine opportunities to shape both the team and the technology roadmap.
The role is based in Dublin City Centre, with a hybrid setup (three days on-site, two remote), in a culture that values both innovation and work-life balance.

Experience Required:
- Must currently be a Senior/Lead Data Engineer leading a team
- Strong experience building data lakes, data pipelines, data modelling with Azure / GCP
- Strong Python experience
- Scala experience is highly desirable
Salary:
€100,000 – €125,000 + Annual Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + 25 Days of AL + Hybrid role and MORE!
