This well organized insurance company is seeking to initiate a range of IT projects within its Dublin Head Office.  In this role you will operate in a PMO framework and collaborate with a broad range of locally based people including analysts, developers and testers.  This will suit a project manager who enjoys delivering appliction based projects to operations.  

The environment is progressive towards IT and the company is undertaking some major enhancements to several key applications.  

The major responsibilities include initial project planning efforts such as developing the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and IT sponsor approvals.  You will coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project and communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team, and conduct regular status meetings to review project activities.

You will:

-          Project planning/management

-          Project progress & communications

-          Leadership/decision making

-          Mentoring/coaching

-          Quality Assurance

Experience: 

• 5 + years experience in Project Management
• Prince 2, PMI or PMBOK
• Financial Services and Insurance Experience an advantage

Salary / Remuneration: 60,000 – 70,000 + health insurance, discounts on other insurances, bonus and pension

This position will start on a 2 year contract
