Developer – Technical Business Analyst

Leading investments management organisation set to push the boundaries in 2018 is currently undergoing a rapid expansion. Headquartered in one of Dublin’s most sought after locations this company has a number of greenfield projects set in the pipelines, and with this growth comes the opportunity for team development.

This trend-setting organisation is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to provide new innovative solutions and assist in decision making to drive this organisation to the next level.

As this is a newly developed role you will have a certain amount of autonomy in driving the direction of this role, while also collaborating with many of the business functions allowing you the opportunity to develop new technical and non-technical skills.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background working in and Oracle or SQL environment, with some exposure to ETL, data analysis and reporting. Experience with Charles River or Eagle Pace would be a distinct advantage.

This role will allow you to progress your career into a senior advisor member of the team, liaising with Stakeholders and team leads to determine future steps for the organisation.

The Role:

• Develop database solutions to various business functions within the organisation
• Provide data analysis, reporting, and insights
• Advise stakeholders and decision makers on technical aspects of the business
• Work with a global team to deliver new technical solutions
• Work with financial tools – Charles River and Eagle Pace (training provided)
• Implement technology enhancements and process improvements

Required:

• Strong SQL or Oracle development experience
• Ability to write complex SQL queries
• Data analysis, reporting, and ETL experience
• Industry experience in Finance / Insurance / Banking / Insurance
• Advantage – Charles River or Eagle Pace experience

Salary:

• €50,000 – €60,000
• Excellent benefits package
